Here are a few tips to help you plan the perfect tea party:
Start with the basics:
- Set a date, time and venue. Anywhere can be great for a tea party venue – your home, work, school, community centre or even your local pub!!
Planning:
- Why not choose a theme?
- Invite all your guests – use the downloadable posters and invitations, send emails or post an invite through Facebook.
- Get support – approach local shops, businesses and restaurants for food donations or raffle prizes.

Don’t have a printer? Don’t worry! Just give us a call on 0845 130 9733 and we will send a tea party information pack to you.
On the day:
- Don’t forget to ask for a donation from your guests, any amount large or small is gratefully received.
- If your guests can gift aid their donations then please ask them to fill in a Gift Aid form. SDBTT will get almost a third more without any extra cost to your guests.
- And most importantly HAVE FUN!!!!
