Brain Tumour Support Groups

If you have a brain tumour or care for someone who has, these groups exist to support you.

SDBTT Hartley Wintney Support Group

Our Hartley Wintney group meets on a bi-monthly basis on Thursdays. We aim to offer friendship, information and talks on relevant topics.

SDBTT Hartley Wintney support group dates for 2010 are:

  • (talk on driving by Paul Graham, Senior Occupational Therapist at QEF Mobility Services)

Directions to find the Hartley Wintney Support Group: Victoria Hall is situated alongside the A30, but to gain access to the car park, turn into West Green Road. It is signposted on the A30. Travelling south-west on the A30 towards Basingstoke, it is about half a mile after Hartley Wintney village centre on the right-hand side. Travelling north-east towards Camberley on the A30, it is situated approximately 2.5 miles after leaving Hook village centre on the left-hand side – if you reach Hartley Wintney High Street you have come too far!

Other Brain Tumour Support Groups

Guildford – Brain Tumour Support Group

This group meets at the Fountain Centre at St Luke’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford and provides an informal, safe and happy place for patients and their carers to meet for chat, information and support.

The group is part of the Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire Cancer Network.

Haywards Heath – Sussex Brain Tumour Support Group

Sussex Brain Tumour Support Group is a self-help group, providing a lifeline of understanding, information and support to patients, partners, parents and friends through monthly meetings; enabling access to information, services and other organisations.

The group also provides an opportunity to share experiences with others who have faced, or are facing, similar problems.

Venue: Clair Hall, Haywards Heath, West Sussex. 

Time: 7pm – 8:30pm.  Last Thursday of each month.
