Brain tumour factsheets

The factsheets below give information for brain tumour patients and their carers about some of the common scans and treatments that brain tumour patients have, as well as suggestions for coping with the diagnosis.  You may find the ‘ glossary of medical terms’ factsheet helpful in explaining any words or phrases that you are unfamiliar with.

If you would would like these factsheets as printed copies please contact us to request them by phoning 01252 749990 or by emailing support@sdbtt.co.uk

Our factsheets have been produced with the assistance of patient and carer representatives, and using up-to-date, reliable sources of evidence. The accuracy of medical information has been verified by a leading neuro-oncologist.  If you would like to request a list of references for any of the factsheets, or would like more information about how we produce them, please contact Lauren Aliverti at LAliverti@sdbtt.co.uk or call 01252 749990.
