A £50 gift could contribute towards the purchase of a specialist piece of equipment for our research work to analyse genetic make up, study protein structure or manipulate cells to behave in different ways.
A £100 gift could enable over 30 doctors surgeries to become HeadSmart aware; enabling them to spot the signs and symptoms of brain tumours in children and when to recommend a vital brain scan.
A £250 gift could enable people struggling to cope with a brain tumour to gain the support and information they need from our National Brain Tumour Helpline.
A £500 gift could enable brain tumour patients and their parents or carers to attend one of our Information and Support Days to hear talks from leading professionals and meet with others who have had similar experiences.
A £1,000 gift could enable critical analyses of the tumour samples for brain tumour patients participating in a vital clinical trial; helping to understand the impact of the trial and make future recommendations for treatment.
A £5,000 gift could cover several months’ work for one of our leading brain tumour researchers to further the understanding of a particular type of brain tumour to provide more targeted treatments.
