Volunteer in the office
If you have a spare few hours during the week, why not pop into our offices and help us with the day to day running of SDBTT? We are based in Yateley, Hampshire, which is conveniently located near the M3 and Reading, Guildford and Aldershot. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a month, a day in the week, or a one off visit, we could really use your help!
We need fantastic volunteers to help us send out Christmas card orders, co-ordinate mail outs, and help with general admin tasks around the office. We are also on the lookout for volunteers with specific skills; if you’re an IT buff or a pro at graphic design, we would love to hear from you! Volunteer at events
Brain Tumour Awareness Month takes place in March and if you don’t fancy getting on your bike, you can still support our fantastic cycle ride by joining us as a marshal on the day. No experience is needed and just a couple of hours of your time can help us keep our cyclists heading in the right direction! As a marshal, you will be a vital part of Team SDBTT and we would love to have you on board.
If you can spare a couple of hours on Sunday 25 March please join our marshalling squad by emailing fundraising@sdbtt.co.uk.
We also need volunteers to help at events, take Christmas card flyers to local shops, man stands at events, and to join our cheer squad. Make sure you tell your friends, families and colleagues about what we do, and encourage them to get involved in any way that they can; we would love to have you onboard!
Fundraise in your local area
Plan a fundraiser in your local area, organise a stand at a local fair, plan your very own coffee morning or go all out and host a fabulous charity ball. If you’re stuck for ideas, check out our fundraising ideas for inspiration!
Alternatively, you can help spread the our message in your local area by distributing collecting tins in local shops and post offices, putting up SDBTT posters, and by distributing our HeadSmart materials in your local schools, medical surgeries, and hospitals. We can provide you with everything that you will need to really raise awareness of SDBTT in your local area.
