We can supply sponsorship forms, advice about event management and much more. Just give us a call. A list of fundraising ideas can be found on the Fundraising page on this website.

Create a fundraising page through Just Giving

If you are planning to take part in a sponsored event you can easily set up your own fundraising page on the Justgiving website with the proceeds coming to SDBTT. Many of your supporters may prefer to use a credit or debit card to sponsor you and you will be able to see the amount you have raised by logging into your account. Click here and follow a set of simple instructions to set up your page.

Media Mogul

Susannah Lees, who lost her life to a brain tumour in 2006, designed this entertaining game which has been marketed by Hamleys and received many favourable reviews in the press. SDBTT will receive all the proceeds of any sales made through this website. Please click on the game below to find out more.

Recycle

Phones:

We have an agreement with a company who recycles mobile phones, please call the office and we can send you a freepost envelope. The company, Greener Solutions offers cashback to the Charity for each phone recycled.  Click here for more information.  Please ensure you write SDBTT on the envelope to ensure the Charity receives the proceeds!

Toners:

We use a company called Recycle Cartridge.Org Ltd.  Unfortunately not all toners can be recycled.  Please check the list to see if your toner is suitable for recycling.  Having checked the list you can dowload a Freepost label for use on parcels.  Cashback varies according to the type of toner cartridge being recycled. Please write SDBTT on the Freepost label to ensure we receive the proceeds.

Amazon

If you use this search box to access Amazon, the Charity receives varying rates of commission on your purchases, at no cost to yourself.

Ebay

By registering with Missionfish, people with an Ebay account can opt to have all or part of the proceeds from a sale donated to the Trust. Even if you don’t yet use Ebay, it is a simple matter to register and become a seller. Why not empty your attic for a good cause!

Self Assessment Tax Forms

By quoting a special code on your Self Assessment Tax Form, you can request that SDBTT receives any tax repayments as a donation.  Please quote code MAC06EG (effective 31st March 2008).

Matched giving / Matched funding

A number of companies are now involved in matched giving schemes where they will match pound for pound money raised through sponsorship or other fundraising activities. Ask your employer.

Leave a legacy

You can download an information sheet about leaving the Trust a legacy, alternatively please call the office and we will send you a copy.

SDBTT is a member of Remember a Charity.

Purchase Christmas cards

We will have a new selection of Christmas Cards for Christmas 2009.  If you would like to order some please email us.

Raise awareness

We are always happy to supply newsletters and other information which you can pass on to relatives, friends and neighbours. When the Trust was set up in 1996 research into brain tumours was negligible. It was ‘the forgotten cancer’. With the help of our many supporters we have been able to work towards redressing the balance. We want to enlist your help in getting the message across about how important it is to find a cure for brain tumours.

Stay informed

Ask to have your name added to our mailing list so we can send you a copy of our newsletter and keep you informed about the Charity.

Volunteer

If you feel you can offer help, either in our office in Yateley or by being linked to other supporters in your local area, please contact us on 0845 130 9733.
