It’s eight years since the first SDBTT Umbrella Group was formed as a consequence of the loss of a loved-one. Although the creation of any group is under difficult circumstances, the successes that they bring to SDBTT are incredible. We have seen a great number of new groups join and increasing numbers of people are recognising the importance of raising money to fund brain tumour research and provide support to patients and their carers.
Our groups are being more successful in their fundraising activities than ever before – raising £450,000 in the last year alone – and making a huge contribution to our record income. A huge thank you to all the groups, and everyone who has skydived, run a marathon, held a ball, or done anything else that you care to imagine to raise funds for one of these inspiring groups. Well done to you all!
