Get fundraising!
We rely 100% on voluntary donations and could not continue to fund vital medical research and provide critical support to those affected by brain tumours without the time and generosity given by thousands of people around the UK. Please help to raise the funds we need by taking up one of the fundraising ideas below…or come up with your own one!
Get baking… Everyone loves a cake or two, so why don’t you hold a cake sale to raise cash for those affected by a brain tumour? Whether it is in your school hall or at a local fete, cakes, cookies and biscuits always go down a treat. What are you waiting for – grab your apron and get baking! You can always host a tea party as part of Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
Get dancing…Slip on your dancing shoes and get dancing; host a ball, organise a dance show, or arrange a zumbathon or barn dance. Enjoy an evening with friends and family with an entry fee and raffle on the night to raise funds for brain tumour research.
Get quizzing… Put on your thinking caps and organise a pub quiz. Invite some friends round and play quizmaster in your living room, or have a chat with the landlord about a fundraising pub quiz in your local watering hole. Charge an entrance fee and provide refreshments; all the proceeds will go to raising money for those affected by brain tumours.
Get your hands dirty…Wash the car, mow the lawn, walk the dog, clean the windows, iron shirts, weed the garden, carry the shopping, help with decorating, litter pick…the list is endless. Get out and about in your neighbourhood and ask for donations to support brain tumour research in return for doing the jobs that nobody wants to do!
Get dressed up…Slip on that little black dress or James Bond-style suit and hold a black tie dinner for a sophisticated way to fundraise for brain tumour research. Organise a three course dinner and dance, or a casino night with lots of entertainment, with all profits from the ticket sales going to help those affected by brain tumours.
Get pampered…Get together with the girls and settle down for a night filled with mud masks, manicures and massages. Provide beauty treatments for a small charge and sit back and relax whilst raising vital funds for brain tumour research.
Get golfing… If you’re a Lady Captain then adopt us as your chosen charity for the year. Or why not ask your local golf club to support us by donating a % of their green fees for one day or organising a charity golf day in aid of us to help the 500 children who are diagnosed with a brain tumour each year.
Getting married? Weddings are a wonderful opportunity to raise some money for those affected by brain tumours. Choose our branded wedding favours for your guests and make a worthwhile donation at the same time.
