Peter is accompanied by five-strong back-up crew and relying on his training as a former Royal marine on the route that covers 105 miles. Pete chose us as he feels that brain tumours affect so many and yet there is so little understanding by the public at large. It is also a subject that is close to Pete’s heart as he lost his best friend at school to a brain tumour and has been raising funds recently for a local boy who has an inoperable brain tumour.
“And I for one am full of admiration for your courage and determination, not only to achieve a super human feat but also to raise funds for these charities that so desperately need all of our support.” Bear Grylls
