Ben Sambrook, who has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for SDBTT in his very own Umbrella Group, was recently rewarded by Birmingham City FC for his inspirational story. The Football Club made Ben and his family guests of honour at Saturday’s match against Everton, which included a behind-the-scenes tour.
The Club was moved by Ben’s bravery and determination to help raise funds for brain tumour research after he himself battled back from a brain tumour in 2007. You can read more about Ben here.
