On Sunday 12th September the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire played host to the third annual Terry Fox Run. Any fears of last year’s rain soon evaporated with clear blue skies accompanying over 50 runners as they ran, jogged or walked the 5km looping course around the beautiful grounds of the hotel in the spectacular setting of Dogmersfield Park.
To complement the run, the Four Seasons Hotel treated everyone at this exciting event with a mini-spa area, dedicated kids corner and a delicious 
BBQ prepared by Chef Pannier. With a raffle taking place offering the chance to win such prizes as a stay in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago and a night’s stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf, many people left with an added spring in their step. Neil Dickson was on-hand to provide a few words on just how much these events mean to Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust and how far the charity and brain tumour research have come since the charity was set up 1996. Further words of thanks were provided by the Canadian Commission, and a brain tumour survivor told her brave story.
The money raised has yet to be counted, but with all the proceeds being split between the Terry Fox Foundation and Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, this event was a fantastic way to support cancer research.
